Sept 14th, 2022. The Whenever Show with Jason Novak at The Comics Journal. I had a great time on the couch on Jason’s TV show as a comic talking about my grandfather Alvah on the Blacklist, teaching, living with cancer, and Walt Whitman.

JULY 16th, 2022. The Graphic Medicine 2022 Conference. Watch a virtual reading of Chapter 8: The Fall (only 10 minutes total). The chapter focuses on my experience fielding emails from students in crisis, posing critical questions regarding how non-counseling staff respond to mental health and basic needs challenges — and how this impacts us through “secondary trauma” and “compassion fatigue.”
